NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) is India's premier body for assessing and certifying laboratory competence. Established under the Quality Council of India, NABL evaluates laboratories against ISO/IEC 17025:2017 — the international standard for testing and calibration laboratory competence.
NABL accreditation means a laboratory has demonstrated technical competence through documented quality management systems, validated test methods, traceable equipment calibration, and regular proficiency testing. Results from NABL accredited labs are recognized internationally through mutual recognition agreements with ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and APLAC (Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation).
For regulatory submissions — whether FSSAI licensing, drug registration with CDSCO, export documentation, or USFDA filings — NABL accredited test reports carry the weight of internationally recognized competence. Choosing a NABL accredited lab is not optional for regulated industries. It is the baseline of credibility.
Five laboratories, each independently assessed and accredited by NABL under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Combined scope covers 13,216+ test entries across chemical, microbiological, mechanical, and physical disciplines.

Achieving and maintaining NABL accreditation requires laboratories to meet rigorous standards across management systems, technical operations, and quality assurance. Here are the core requirements that Auriga Research satisfies across all 5 laboratories.
Documented QMS aligned with ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Covers document control, internal audits, management review, corrective actions, and continual improvement.
Validated and verified test methods for every accredited parameter. Method validation records, measurement uncertainty calculations, and documented standard operating procedures.
Metrologically traceable calibration of all instruments. 110+ HPLCs, 9 LC-MS/MS, 5 ICP-MS systems — each calibrated to national or international standards with documented uncertainty budgets.
Documented training records, qualification matrices, and competency assessments for all technical staff. Average team experience ranges from 3.8 to 9.2 years across our facilities.
Regular participation in inter-laboratory comparison and proficiency testing programs. Results monitored for z-scores and used to validate ongoing technical competence.
NABL conducts annual surveillance audits and periodic reassessment visits. All 5 Auriga labs have maintained accreditation through every audit cycle since initial accreditation.
