Testing Charges & Pricing Guide

Transparent indicative pricing from a NABL-accredited laboratory. The ranges below help you budget and plan. For an exact quote tailored to your specific product and parameters, request one from our team.

Why NABL matters for pricing: NABL-accredited reports are legally accepted by FSSAI, CDSCO, BIS, CPCB, and courts. Unaccredited labs may charge less, but their reports carry no regulatory weight. Auriga Research has held continuous NABL accreditation since 2003.

What Affects Testing Costs

Number of Parameters

More parameters per sample means more instrument time. However, bundled testing packages (e.g., FSSAI compliance panel) are more economical than testing parameters individually.

Testing Method

Advanced instrumentation (LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, GC-MS/MS) costs more than basic wet chemistry or UV-Vis methods. Pharmacopoeial methods may require specific reagents and reference standards.

Turnaround Time

Standard TAT provides the best pricing. Express testing (50% surcharge) is available for urgent requirements. Some stability and shelf-life studies have fixed timelines that cannot be expedited.

Sample Volume & Frequency

Regular clients with 10+ samples per month qualify for volume discounts (10–25%). Annual contracts with committed volumes receive the most competitive rates.

Accreditation Scope

NABL-accredited parameters carry a premium over non-accredited tests because they require validated methods, calibrated instruments, and rigorous quality documentation.

Method Development

If your product requires a custom analytical method (not in standard pharmacopoeia or FSSAI methods), method development and validation is quoted separately and typically ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹2,00,000.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do NABL-accredited lab reports cost more?
NABL accreditation requires laboratories to maintain stringent quality systems under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This includes regular proficiency testing, calibration of all instruments against traceable standards, method validation, internal audits, and annual surveillance audits by NABL assessors. These quality assurance processes ensure your test results are accurate, legally defensible, and accepted by regulators — which costs more to deliver than unaccredited testing. The premium pays for reliability.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. We offer tiered pricing for clients with regular testing needs — typically 10+ samples per month or annual contracts. Volume discounts range from 10% to 25% depending on test category and commitment. Request a quote with your estimated monthly volumes for a custom pricing proposal.
What is the express testing surcharge?
Express or rush testing is available for most parameters at a 50% surcharge over standard pricing. Express turnaround typically reduces TAT by 40–50%. For example, a 7-day standard test would be delivered in 3–4 business days on express. Availability depends on current lab capacity — confirm with our team before sending samples.
Are these prices inclusive of GST?
All indicative prices shown on this page are exclusive of GST. Testing services attract 18% GST under SAC code 998346 (Technical testing and analysis services). Your invoice will show the base amount plus applicable GST separately.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), cheque, UPI, and credit/debit cards. For international clients, we accept wire transfers in USD, EUR, and GBP. Advance payment is required for first-time clients. Regular clients can apply for 30-day credit terms subject to approval.
Can I get an exact quote before sending samples?
Yes. We recommend getting a detailed quote before shipping samples. Submit your requirements with product details, required parameters, and number of samples. Our team provides an exact quote within 4 business hours — no hidden costs, no surprises.
